Fr. Brian Isenbarger

Fr. Brian Isenbarger is the Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Garrett, Indiana. He is a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. Fr. Brian has a special devotion to St. Philip Neri - the patron saint of laughter and humor. Fr. Brian’s passion is for everyone to discover the joy of holiness from a life lived in friendship with Christ. When he’s not serving his parishioners, you can often find him enjoying good coffee or barbecue, or simply enjoying the finer things of life with his friends.

Fr. Mark Gurtner

Father Mark Gurtner serves as Vicar General of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. Born in Auburn, Indiana as the oldest of four children, he discerned a call to the priesthood during his college years at a time when he planning to go to law school. After being ordained in 1996, Fr. Mark continued his studies in Canon Law and then served in various parishes while also working in our diocesan Tribunal (church judicial arm). In 2018, he was appointed as Vicar General to assist the bishop in the administration of the diocese. In his free time, Fr. Mark loves to golf, read, and travel.

Mike and Annie Nolan

Michael Nolan is the founder of Shadow on the Water, a ministry that was birthed in response to a call from God: to awaken the Church to live fully the vocation of man. Michael travels the world to preach and demonstrate the Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit. He is a full-time missionary, a father and grandfather, and lives in the United States with his wife Annie and their family.

Annie leads an intercessory team for the ministry and assists Mike with prayer sessions when he is home. She homeschools the kids, manages the house, while supporting all of Mike’s missionary work from home.

Katie Klee

Katie Klee has been speaking at retreats since 2008; most recently she's been speaking on the topic of being single, Catholic, and over 30 while sensing a call to marriage. She hopes to create a space for others who are in the same place in their lives to feel seen and encouraged with the reminder that God has not forgotten them. 

Katie is a MC and speaker for Catholic events. Outside of her professional work, she loves being Aunt Katie/"Tater Tots" to her nieces and nephews and godchildren, spending quality time with her family and friends, having high blood pressure from watching Notre Dame football, co-founding Wonder and Awe Wellness, LLC with her sister, stopping to pet people's dogs, harmonizing with any noises her house makes, singing as a cantor at her church, writing, leading a singles over 30 hiking group, making puns whenever possible, and traveling.

Tommy Kostielney

Born and raised in South Bend (Christ the King parish),  Tommy "somehow convinced the most amazing woman in the world to marry me". They have three kids, Henry, Jesse, and Nora Joy, who keep life loud, joyful, and humbling in equal measure. He loves Jesus and is trying to love Him more. He's been teaching for the past 14 years and currently teaches Theology and English, which he describes as "spending my days talking about God, stories, and meaning…and my nights explaining Pokémon evolutions, saint stories, and why wearing a shirt to school is not, in fact, optional."
 

He is a lifelong reader, an enthusiastic eater, a recovering gamer, and someone who genuinely loves asking big questions about faith, purpose, and what actually leads to a holy life.
