Work/Career:

I am an Academic Advisor within the Office of Student Success at Holy Cross College. However, what I do is more than advising! I mentor students, oversee a few transfer programs to Notre Dame, direct orientation, and am designing and implementing a new high school summer program on leadership and virtue called the Cross & Anchor Summit that will debut next summer.

Favorite Thing About South Bend:

I love the community! When it came time for me to make a decision in the Spring of 2021 as to whether I'd stay or move from South Bend, I felt called to stay here because of the community that I had made. I feel like it's the best I've ever had. I also love the seasons, so the weather in South Bend is fun to experience.

Favorite Prayer:

My favorite prayer is probably the Liturgy of the Hours. It's the official prayer of the Church that extends the celebration of the Mass throughout the day. In celebrating the Hours, you get to recite Psalms, other Scripture verses and passages, pray intercessions, and learn about Saints and Feasts as you progress through the year. I'm a fan of Liturgical time so this always excites me to draw connections with where I'm at, what time of day it is, what liturgical season we're in, and what Christ, through the prayer of the Church, has to say to me.

Favorite Movie/Media:

I'm a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Whether it's TV, movie, streaming service, etc., I've seen it all (amazingly). I grew up enjoying book series and going to a Marvel movie for my birthday every year since 5th grade so I enjoy it today because of the interconnectedness, the ever-expanding story, and the ability to pick up the characters and details placed in one show or movie into another.
